A long time resident of Big Bear City, Ilisa's service will be held at the Big Bear Foursquare Church on Wed, Nov 17 at 1:00 p.m. Ilisa Rae Morgan Published: Wednesday, November 24, 2010 2:26 PM PST 28, a long time resident of Big Bear City, Calif., lost her valiant, courageous fight against cancer on Nov. 13, 2010 in Redlands, Calif. She was born on Dec. 4, 1981, in Phoenix, Ariz. Ilisa graduated from Greenway High School in Phoenix, Ariz. and attended Stephens College in Columbia, Mo. She majored in musical theater and performed in many local theater productions. Ilisa Rae met her loving husband, James Morgan, son of Valeva Morgan, a local Big Bear resident, in 2003 and they married on May 5, 2007, at Big Bear Lake. They have one son, Jacob, who is 2 1/2 years old. Local residents are familiar with Ilisa's cancer battle. She was often heard throughout Big Bear singing with her band, Funny Mirrors, and speaking at local Cancer Society Relay for Life events. She is survived by her husband, James, and their son, Jacob; her parents, Esta (William) Rosevear and Neil (Susan) Goldstein; brother, Aaron (Melinda) Goldstein; uncle, Robert (Linda) Garman. Funeral services were held at the Big Bear Foursquare Church on Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2010. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Citibank in Big Bear for Jacob's educational fund.
