(Effie) Moss were shocked to learn of her untimely death which occurred last Saturday, June 10, in the early morning hours at the Lancaster Community hospital, after an illness of but two to three weeks duration. Effie Lee Stenson was born November 16, 1905, in San Antonio, Texas. On March 17, 1925 she married A. B. Moss in Cleburne, Texas. Mrs. Moss .is survived by her husband, a daughter, Allie and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph .McKlintock of North Fork, and their three little children, Paula, Danny and Obie; a son, John Arthur, 13, and two sisters, Mrs Ethel Steadman, of Cleburne, Tex.; and Mrs. Annie Steadman of Los Angeles the latter of which attended the services. Mrs. Moss lived with her husband and young son at Burton's Camp, west of Rosamond for a period af eight years and though she worked, she had time for many friends and always had a cheery smile for everyone. . She had many capabilities whether it was running the mill at the Tropico Mine, working in the round house for the S. P. producing meat cuts at the Rosamond Food Locker, besides lending a helping hand to a needy family. Funeral services were held at the O'Donnell Funeral Home at Mojave at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 13, with the Rev. Olin Collier officiating. Interment was in the Mojave cemetery.
