San Luis Obispo Pioneer; Saturday June 13, 1868 Vol. 1 #24 DEATHS.-In San Luis Obispo, June 10, 1868 of consumption, Pascual MOTO, a native of Zapotlan Grande of Jalisco, Mexico, aged about 38 years. FUNERAL-The funeral of Pascual MOTA, which took place on Thursday last, took us by surprise, as being far more numerously attended than any like ceremony that we have witnessed in this place. There must have been 200 persons present, of both sexes and all ages. We had little or no acquaintance with the deceased, but should judge him to have been a very popular man, in view of the interest manifested.
