Lyle "Rusty" Amra Nicholson, 67, of Oak Hills passed away Feb. 14, 2008, at Loma Linda 
University Medical Center. 

Born Oct. 17, 1940 in Los Angeles, Calif. 

He did mechanical work for over 50 years, owned his own forklift sales and service business 
for over 30 years.

Rusty was preceded in death recently by his wonderful wife and friend of 46 years, Mari "Diane" 
Nicholson. He was also preceded in death by his father and mother, Winifred and Delores 
Nicholson; brothers, Erich, Lisom "Nick", Roy, and Gary Nicholson; and sister, Beverly Hook. 

He is survived by his sons; Lonnie, Erich and Kenneth Nicholson; daughter and son-in-law, 
Sandra and Ray of Santa Cruz; grandchildren, Bryan, Ashley, Brittany, Matthew, Tyler, Mara, 
Hailey, Chase, Skylar, Bobby and Shaila; great grandchildren, Devyn and Madisyn; siblings, 
Erma Wilkinson, Verna and Art Angelini, Shirley Thompson, Carl "Leon" and Brenda Nicholson, 
Marvin and Kathy Nicholson, Merle "Suzie" and Dennis Lumbert, Sonja and Tony Olguin and 
many nieces and nephews.

Rusty loved life, family get-togethers singing, playing spoons, and the outdoors. He loved to 
camp, fish, ride dirt bikes and was happiest traveling the country on his Harley with family 
and friends. 

Rusty was very much loved by all and will be greatly missed.

Memorial services will be at 11:30 a.m., March 1, 2008, at Desert View Funeral Home, 11478 
Amargosa Road, Victorville.
