Death Claims Boron Resident
Mrs. Maria Jane Oberlender, 91, passed away at the home of her son, Carl, of 312 
John Road, Boron, Calif. Mrs. Oberlender was born Aug. 22,1858, in Pennsylvania. 
She is survived by her sons, Carl of Boron, George W. of Lincoln, Neb., Richard L. 
of San Antonio, Tex., and daughters Elizabeth Baden, Brownsville, Ore., and Louise 
Jacobsen of Beresford, South Dakota.
Graveside services were held March 20 at the Mountain View cemetery, San 
Bernardino, with Rev. Herschell Hedgpeth of the St. Paul's Methodist Church 
officiating. O'Donnell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
