DOWNEY-A Funeral Mass will be heard today (Friday, Jan. 3) at 9:30 
a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church for June P. Oleinik, 
a Downey resident for 30 years, who died Dec. 28 at Downey Community 
Hospital.

She was 79, born June 1, 1917 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and was a 
homemaker for 54 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George, in 1980.

Survivors include her daughters, Mary and Patty Oleinik of Downey; 
sons Robert (Nancy) of Anaheim, George (Lesley) of Sacramento, 
Thomas of Norwalk; sister Helen Peterson of Minnesota; and eight 
grandchildren.

The Rev. Fr. John Moloney, pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow at 
Resurrection Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Downey Zrelak 
Family Mortuary.
