Appeal Democrat Wednesday April 24, 1957 Pease - Leroy Saunders Pease, 63, lifelong Sutter County resident died this morning at his home on Tierra Buena Rd. The son of the pioneer family for which Pease Rd in Sutter County was named , he was born in Tierra Buena area and had for many years been a farmer there. He was a member of Sutter Parlor 261, Native Sons of the Golden West; the Sutter County Farm Bureau; and the Teamsters Union. Funeral arrangements are pending at the Ullrey Memorial Chapel. Survivors include his wife, Edith, of Tierra Buena; two sons, Clarence Pease of Sacramento and Everett Pease of Los Angeles; his mother, Mrs Ida Berry of Yuba City; a brother, Ralph Pease of Oakland and eight grandchildren. Appeal Democrat Thursday April 25, 1957 Pease -Funeral services will be conducted Saturday morning at 10 o'clock at Ullrey Memorial Chapel for Leroy Sanders Pease, 63, a lifelong Sutter County resident who died yesterday at his home on Tierra Buena Rd. Burial will be in the family plot at Sutter Cemetery
