Funeral Services were held foe Mrs. Billie Peebles, 29, of Tehachapi on Friday afternoon in the 
Mojave Funeral chapel with the Rev. W. J. Oldfield officiating. A native of Kansas, Mrs. Peebles 
had come to Tehachapi from Phoenix, Ariz., two months ago. She is survived by her husband 
William Peebles.
Mrs. Peebles died of natural causes while alone in her home at the Overton Ranch, near 
Tehachapi. Interment was in the Mojave cemetery.
