Frances Pauline Petralia mourned at age of 92
DOWNEY-Services will be Monday, Jan. 5, at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic 
Church for Frances Pauline Petralia, a Downey resident for 44 years, who worked over a 52 
year span as a seamstress for several companies, including Helga Fashions. 
She was 92, born in Louisiana and died Dec. 28 at Downey Community Hospital. 
Survivors include her daughters, Rosa Petralia, Bessie Sampere; grandchildren Peter, Paul, 
Pamela and Petracia; nine great-grandchildren; sisters Josephine and Lucy; and brothers Sam 
and Benny. 
Visitation will be Sunday, Jan. 4, from 4 to 8 p.m., with a Rosary at 7 p.m., at Miller-Mies Mortuary. 
Father John will officiate. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in East Los Angeles. 
Arrangements are by Miller-Mies Mortuary of Downey.
