The Downey Eagle March 13, 1998 Volume 6 Number 3 Services tomorrow for Nancy Ann Pinizzotto DOWNEY-Services will be held tomorrow (Saturday, March 14) at 11 a.m. at St. Raymond's Church, 12348 Paramount Blvd., for Nancy Ann Pinizzotto, a longtime Downey resident and a former sales and advertising employee for The Hot Sheet, the Southeast News, and the Southern California Publishing Co. She was 36, born in Lynwood Jan. 27, 1962, and went to school at St. Raymond's in Downey, and Downey High School. When still in high school she started working for the R.O.P. program through the City of Downey, and worked as a teacher's aid for grades 1-4. After graduation, she started a career in the newspaper business. Later she started her own publication which was distributed through sports retailers and tennis shops, which was called the Sports Bulletin. She had to quit due to an illness called sleep apnea. She was later diagnosed with Pickwickian Syndrome, Diabetes, and a rare blood disorder. She spent her last years enjoying herself. She went on several cruises with her family and friends, and she loved the ocean. Survivors include her mother, Norine Pinizzotto; sisters Marjorie Pinizzotto, Karen Bucellato, Lisa Pinizzotto, Mary Pinizzotto; a brother, John Pinizzotto; a niece, Megan Bucellato; a nephew Joey Bucellato; and three godchildren, Fernando, Mason and Cullen. Family and friends are welcome at the family home following the services.
