May 10, 1954 - April 16, 2006 51, of Waterford died Easter Sunday at home with family. born May 10, 1954 in San Francisco. He worked 30 years as a truck driver for UPS. Duane enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He is survived by father, Peter Pleskach of Fremont and preceded in death by mother, Bernice Pleskach. He is also survived by sons, Kent and Darren; daughter, Amy and grandson, Erik of Modesto; sister, Claudia Roderick of San Mateo; brother, Keith Pleskach of Fremont and sister, Laura Eves of Utah. He is also survived by 5 nephews and 3 nieces. The family would like to say a special thanks for all the love and support given by family and friends, UPS friends, the wonderful staff at the Stanford Oncology Clinic and to Mennard Adan, who was a source of great comfort to Duane and his family during his final days. Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service Thursday, April 20, 2006 at 1:30 p.m. held at Berge-Pappas-Smith Chapel of the Angels, 40842 Fremont Blvd., Fremont. Burial will follow at Irvington Memorial Cemetery. Donations may be made to Pathways Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
