The Downey Eagle July 17, 1998 Volume 6 Number 21 Vigil service tonight for Julian Harry Plummer DOWNEY-A vigil service will be held at 7 this evening (Friday, July 17) at the Downey Zrelak Family Mortuary Chapel for Julian Harry Plummer, a former 30 year resident of Anaheim, who died July 13 at Hearthstone in Medford, Oregon. He was 80, born in Cicero, Illinois, Dec. 7, 1917, and moved to Grants Pass, Oregon from Anaheim in 1992. He worked for McDonald Douglas for 20 years, and was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel, in 1984. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Richard (Linda) Plummer of Grants Pass, Oregon; brothers Frank of San Diego, Victor of Downey; sisters Edwina Seelke of Battle Creek, Michigan and Loraine Dickhaus of Covington, Kentucky; six grandchildren and one great-grandson. A funeral mass will be heard Saturday (July 18) at 9 a.m. at St. Raymond's Catholic Church, Downey. Burial will follow at All Souls Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Downey Zrelak Family Mortuary.
