LA PORTE WOMAN DIES AFTER LINGERING ILLNESS � La Porte, July 29 � Mrs. 
Catherine Primeaux, wife of the late Mose Primeaux, of La Porte, passed 
away at her home in La Porte Sunday afternoon, after a lingering illness 
of several months. Mrs. Primeaux was 68 years old, and was born in France, 
coming to La Porte while a girl. She has resided in that vicinity for the 
past fifty years, and has reared a family of four children. Surviving 
relatives are two daughters; Mrs. Will Bell of Quincy and Mrs. Emma Beaver 
of La Porte; and two sons. The funeral was held Tuesday, with interment in 
the La Porte cemetery.
