TEN KILLED IN BOMBER CRASH
MUROC, Calif., January 22, Ten persons were killed when a B-24 Liberator bomber crashed 
near Muroc army airfield early Saturday morning, Colonel W. A. Maxwell, commanding officer, . 
announced.
Killed were: Second Lieutenant Frederick J. Vieson, Detroit, Mich.; Second Lieutenant William 
R.. Livermore, Dearborn, Mich.; Second Lieutenant Joseph C. Vanderdecker, Irvington, N. J.; 
Flight Officer Joseph C. Syper, Detroit, J Mich.; Corporal Leslie J. Raber, Belle Fourche, S. D.; 
Corporal Jack T Seymour, Odessa, Texas; Corporal John J. Vera, Providence, R. I.; Private First 
Class George B. Well, Santa Fe, N. M.; Private First Class Jack C. Newcomb, Dallas, Texas and 
Sergeant John J. Hardy, Boston, Mass.
