Stephen Ratke 

Stephen Ratke, age 88, passed away April 1, 2010 in Apple Valley after a 
short illness. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on November 18, 1921. He was a resident 
of the Victor Valley for over 30 years.

He worked as a sales representative for machine tools for the auto industry while in 
Detroit. He worked in real estate, car sales and computer sales after moving to California.

He served in the Army Air Force from 1942-1945.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Agnes J Ratke of Apple Valley; his son, Clifford 
Ratke and wife Nancy of Hesperia, CA; son, Robert Ratke of Florida; grandson, Aaron 
Ratke of Apple Valley; granddaughter, Jenna Ratke of Orange, CA; sister-in-law, Betty 
Augustine of Utica, Michigan.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 8 at 9:30 am at Victor Valley Mortuary Chapel, 
15609 11th St, Victorville. A memorial service will follow at 10:30am with Pastor Wayne 
Boyd officiating.
