Private services for Dorothy Ellen Reed
DOWNEY-Private services were held for Dorothy Ellen Reed, a longtime resident of Downey, who 
died on Dec. 25, 2001, in Fallon, Nevada, where she lived the past five years. 
Dorothy had been an active member of the Downey Christian Science Church, serving faithfully as 
its Reading Room librarian for many years. 
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy, and her daughter, Martha Lynn Jeffries. 
Survivors include a son-in-law, Dan Jeffries; and grandsons David and Matthew Jeffries, all of Whittier.
