Redlands Daily Facts; 03/05/2008 Cecelia Yglecias Renteria, a longtime resident of Redlands, died of complications of high blood pressure Feb. 28 at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton. She was 57. She was born Jan. 3, 1951, in Redlands and grew up here, attending Redlands High School. In the 1970s she worked for the Redlands Unified School District, teaching English to Spanish-speaking students. She most recently worked as a driver for Renzenberger Inc., and she had worked for the San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools, doing child care. She lived in Redlands for 50 years and in San Bernardino for five years before moving to Rialto two years ago. Her husband, Ruben Renteria, died in 2005. Survivors include her daughter, Maria Renteria of Rialto; her son, Ruben Renteria Jr. of Sacramento; her mother, Lupe Yglecias of Redlands; her sister, Dorothy Limon of Redlands; her brother, Manuel Yglecias of Redlands; and nine grandchildren, Celina Renteria, William Cardoza, Dezaree Cardoza, Alexis Cardoza, Adrianna Cardoza, Chris Martinez, Maliyah Renteria, Samantha Renteria and Layla Renteria. Visitation is 2 to 5 p.m. Friday, March 7, with rosary recited at 3:30 p.m., both at Emmerson-Bartlett Memorial Chapel, 703 Brookside Ave., Redlands.
