Longtime resident John Reppert mourned
DOWNEY-A Memorial Mass was heard Thursday, Dec. 4, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church 
for John C. Reppert, a resident of Downey for 44 years and the former vice president/corporate secretary 
for Norris Industries, who died at Downey Community Hospital. 
He was 78, born in Kansas City, Missouri July 30, 1919. He was a veteran of the Army Air Corps in World 
War II. 
He was an active member of the Downey Knute Rockney Council 3697 of the Knights of Columbus, and Our 
Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. 
Survivors include his wife, Eileen M. Reppert; children Joan Heisler, Jan Coe, Tim and Mark Reppert of Downey, 
Betsy Weinberg of Oregon, Jill Whittington of Newport Beach; a sister, Esther Magers of Kansas; and 15 
grandchildren. 
The Rev. Father John Maloney officiated. 
Cremation was followed by interment in All Souls Cemetery in Long Beach. 
Arrangements were by the Downey Zrelak Family Mortuary.
