Colusa Sun January 03, 1958 Myra Rice Dead; Rites On Monday Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Monday in McNary Memorial Chapel for Mrs Myra Winfred Rice, 78, lifelong resident of Colusa who died at 5:30 last night in Colusa Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. Mrs Rice the widow of Thomas Rice, Colusa carpenter who died a number of years ago, was born in Sycamore, Colusa County on January 27, 1879. She had resided at 142 East Webster Street for many years and is survived by a brother, Charles D. Robinson, veteran secretary of the Colusa Lodge of Odd Fellows. Mrs Rice was a member of Trinity Methodist Church, Deborah Rebekah Lodge, Progressive Encampment Auxiliary and the Colusa County Garden Club. The Rev. James Etheredge, pastor of Trinity Methodist Church, will conduct the services and interment will be made in Colusa Cemetery beside the body of her late husband.
