Mrs. Hanna Gertrude Rode, 79, passed away Jan. 23, 2008, in Apple Valley.

Hanna was born April 15, 1928, in Bladiau, Germany. She lived in California for 36 years, 
14 of which she lived in Apple Valley.

Hanna was a very loving and caring person who was a devoted mother and grandmother. 
She enjoyed helping others.

She is survived by her son, Olaf Rode of Victoria, B.C., Canada; grandson, Logan Rode of 
Victoria, B.C., Canada; and her granddaughter, Tasha Rode of Victoria, B.C., Canada.

Memorial services for Hanna will be at 11 a.m., March 1, 2008, at Sunset Hills Memorial 
Chapel, 24000 Waalew Road, Apple Valley. Inurnment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.

Sunset Hills Mortuary is handling the arrangements.
