San Diego Union; February 4, 1898

Rev. J. A. Rogers of Alpine, died there yesterday afternoon at the age of 
68 years. He served as Congregational pastor there for four years, and
formerly lived in this city, where he was connected with the Y. M. C. A.
He leaves a Widow.

ROGERS-In Alpine, San Diego county, Feb. 3, 1898, Rev. J. A. Rogers,
pastor of the Alpine Congregational church, age 68 years.
	Funeral services will be held in the First Congregational church
of this city, at 3 p.m. today.
