Services to be held for Arthur Rosenow tomorrow
DOWNEY-Services will be held at 1 p.m. tomorrow, Dec. 1, at Miller Mies Mortuary Chapel, 11015 
Downey Ave., officiated by Pastor Charles Brady, for Downey resident Arthur Rosenow who was born 
in Los Angeles and died Nov. 26 in Norwalk at the age of 76. 
A viewing will be held today, Friday, Nov. 30, at Miller Mies from 4 to 7 p.m. 
Employed by the U.S. government, he was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church of South Gate. 
He served in the U.S. Navy from 1943 to 1946 and saw action in the Philippines. From 1950 to 1967 
he was with the Air Force during the Korean and Vietnam wars. He retired as a Major, U.S.A.F. after 
20 years of service. 
He is survived by brothers Marvin Rosenow of Downey and Cliff Rosenow of Posey, CA; and nephews 
John and Ronald Rosenow. 
Burial will follow at Rose Hills Memorial Park.
