Weekly Appeal � 2/08/1878, Pg. 2 Sierra County � Frank Rubinetta, who kept a saloon on the west branch of Nelson Creek, on the road east of the Slate Creek House, was burned to death in his house on the 20th of January. How the fire originated no one knows. Mr. Rubinetta was an Austrian by birth, had been a long time in the mines, and was supposed to have been a little demented.
