Services for Downey's Joe Russi at age of 76
DOWNEY-Services were held May 21 at St. Raymond's Church for Joe Russi, a Downey resident for 50 
years and the former owner and operator of J.R. Core Co. 
He was 76, born in Dos Cabos, Arizona, and died May 18 at the Hospital of the Good Samaritan. 
He was a member of St. Raymond's Church, the St. Bruno Seniors Club, and the Moose. 
Survivors include his wife, Frances Russi; his daughter, Joanne (husband Bob Prill); his son, John Russi 
(wife Judi); grandchildren Craig Klier, Alison and Zachary Russi; and great-grandchild Justin Klier. 
Father Tom O'Hanlon officiated. Burial followed at All Souls Cemetery. Arrangements were by the 
Miller-Mies Mortuary of Downey.
