Family, friends and the East Kern Health Care Auxiliary mourn the passing of Iva D. 
Sidney-Rutledge on November 1, 1998.
Iva was one of the co-founders of the Auxiliary in 1977 She was truly an intelligent 
individual who believed in and loved what the Auxiliary stands for and how it can be of 
service to our community. Iva was well-versed on many subjects-if she didn't know, she 
would study books to learn more. Iva taught piano and keyboard in her home. Her 
students were her pride and joy.
One of the greatest recognition's she received was "Who's Who in America." It made 
her so very proud. In the past fen months she spent a lot of her time sharing with her God. 
He gave her strength to keep on going. May she rest in peace.
A memorial service will be held on November 14, 1998 at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist 
Church. 8770 Lupine Loop Dr., Cal City.
