Community remembers Downey's Helen Sachs
DOWNEY-Services were held Feb. 13 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale for Helen Sachs who 
owned Sachs Lincoln Mercury in Downey and was retired. She was 96. 
Born on Dec. 19, 1905, she was a native of Morrill, Nebraska and had resided at Lake Arrowhead for 15 
years. She died at Lake Arrowhead Community Hospital Feb. 7 of heart failure. 
Her husband and brothers and sisters all preceded her in death and except nieces and nephews, she had 
no survivors.
