Carl Gaylord Schudde, 55, passed away on December 31, 2003 in St. 
George, Utah. He was born June 14, 1948 in St. Louis, Missouri to Carl 
Custer and Elaine Bernice Zagrodsky Schudde. He married Sylvia Wood 
in Chesterfield, MO on August 31, 1974 and their marriage was sealed in 
the Los Angeles LDS Temple on February 22, 1992. Carl was an active 
member of the LDS Church and served many positions. He was raised in 
St. Louis and graduated from Columbia University with a degree in 
engineering. He most recently worked as a Flight Test Engineer at Edwards 
Air Force Base, California. He is survived by his wife, Sylvia, of St. 
George, Utah; daughter, Julie (Kenny) McMurphy of New Zealand and their 
children, Gabrielle, Trustin, and Nazarath; daughter, Bethany (Travis) Johnson 
of Texas; sons, Ryan, Jeremy, and Tyson of St. George; and sisters, Carleen 
Hicks and Carlotta Vogt of Granite City, Illinois Funeral services were held 
Saturday, January 3, 2004, 11 a.m., Morningside Chapel, 900 S. 700 E., St. 
George, Utah. Visitation was one hour prior to services at the Chapel. 
Interment was in the St. George City Cemetery under the direction of Metcalf
