Dennis Robert Shanabarger, a 10-year resident of Boron, went to be with 
our Lord on May 19, 2001, in Boron. He died of respiratory failure.
Dennis was born January 8, 1956 in San Gabriel Valley, where he worked 
as a handyman, a tile setter, a wood worker and he completed a theology 
course in the early 1990s.
He leaves to mourn: his mother, Betty Sumrow of Boron, Calif.; one sister, 
Lisa Nichols of Tennessee; one brother, Mike Shanabarger of Washington, 
one son, Cody Shanabarger-Nichols also of Tennessee; his companion and 
friend, Sandi Lacik of Boron, and a host of nieces and nephews. Dennis' 
father, Orrin Shanabarger preceded him in death.
Services were held Friday, May 25, 2001 at First Baptist Church at 10 a.m. 
Arrangements made by Stickel Mortuary.
