Bob "Goose" Sharon Published: Thursday, September 9, 2010 1:45 PM PDT 55, born Aug. 5, 1955 and was the oldest of six children to Beverly Sharon. A longtime resident of Big Bear Lake, he was an avid and very skilled fisherman and golfer. He loved the nature and tranquility of our mountain, and felt at peace here. Among his many charming features, he conducted himself with honor, loyalty, integrity, wit, and compassion. With his gentle spirit and generous heart, he became fast friends with all he encountered. An example of his loving nature, he dedicated himself to raising his autistic nephew after the tragic loss of his sister. At the time of his passing, he was on the verge of discovering that no matter how painful and impossible things may appear, life is beautiful and abundant all around us. Bob died on Aug. 20, 2010, of a broken heart. What he didnt know at the time was that he was truly loved, admired, and respected for his many virtues and for the love he passed on to us all. A devoted son, brother, and uncle, he is survived by his mother Beverly Sharon; brothers Ray, Rich, and Dan; nephew Jeremiah; niece Amanda; and stepfather Hutch. He is preceded in death by his sisters Cynthia and Cathy. He also leaves behind countless friends and extended family, as well as a legacy of kindness. No services will be held.
