Friends, family mourn Dorothy Skow at 76
DOWNEY-Services will be held today (Friday, Feb.22) at 1 p.m. at the Downey Zrelak Family Mortuary 
Chapel for Dorothy Coriennne Skow, a longtime Downey resident and former secretary for more than 
15 years for Bethlehem Steel Co. 
She was 76, born in Inglewood to parents James and Ethel Ridley, and died Feb. 18, 2002. 
She was a dedicated Christian, who loved to read, crochet, and enjoyed learning about her genealogy. 
She loved to correspond and write to many family members and friends. 
Survivors include her husband, Richard; her daughter, Virginia; a sister, Virginia May; and two 
grandchildren, Melissa and James. 
Burial will follow at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier.
