Lloyd Slater mourned by many friends here
DOWNEY-Services were held Aug. 11 at the Miller-Mies Mortuary Chapel for Lloyd Slater, a 32-year 
resident of Downey, who died Aug. 4 at Beverly Hospital in Montebello. 
He was age 71, a native of Indiana, and retired. 
Survivors include Eileen and many friends who will sadly miss him. 
Pastor John Rose officiated. Burial followed at Rose Hills Memorial Park. Arrangements were by the 
Miller-Mies Mortuary of Downey.

Lloyd Slater mourned by friends and family
DOWNEY-friends may visit the Miller-Mies Chapel, 11015 Downey Ave., Sunday, Aug.10 from 11 a.m. 
to 4 p.m. for Lloyd Slater, a 23-year resident of Downey, who died Aug. 4. 
He was 72, born in Indiana, and was retired. 
He is missed by Eileen and friends. 
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 11 at the Miller-Mies Chapel, Pastor John Rose officiating. 
Burial will follow at Rose Hills Memorial Park. 
Arrangements are by the Miller-Mies Mortuary of Downey.
