Upper Lake Pioneer taken in death here 
J. Mack Sleeper, a resident of Upper Lake since 1863, died in the Langland 
hospital in this city last Sunday at the age of 85 years. He leaves five 
children. Funeral services were held Tuesday at Upper Lake and interment was in 
the cemetery at that place.
