Soldier's Life
Three soldiers from Edwards Air Base, were the victims of an accident which 
happened early Tuesday morning just south of Rosamond. One soldier, Pvt. Smith, 
was killed, and the driver, Pvt. Young, was taken to Mojave Hospital with serious. 
injuries. The other passenger, Pvt. Groover escaped with slight injury.
Mr. Ed Wilson, father of Mrs. Cleo Greer, was returning to Los Angeles when he 
came upon the wreckage. He called the O'Donnel ambulance, which answered the call 
immediately. Officers McDaniels and Ducato of the Highway Patrol, investigated the 
accident.
