"Big Bear Grizzly"; Date Unknown

Arthur S. Stanley, 86, passed September 6, 2004, in Victorville, Calif. 
Born December 16, 1917, in Cleveland, Ohio, Arthur was a 21-year resident 
of Big Bear Valley, a member of AARP and Senior Club and an usher at St. 
Joseph's Catholic Church where he was a great greeter and hugger.

Arthur is survived by his wife Elaine of Big Bear City; three sons, Michael 
of Los Altos, John of San Antonio, Texas and Tim of Orange; three daughters, 
Pamela and Mary Stanley, both of Madera and Susan Eyrick of Newport Beach, 
plus 11 grandchildren. He loved his family very much and they all knew his 
enjoyment of fishing and the great outdoors.

A funeral Mass and Rosary was held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church on 
September 11, 2004. Interment with honors at the Riverside National Cemetery.
