Herbert Stark, better known as "Chuck" of California City, died November 3, 1997, in 
Lancaster, California.
Chuck was born on October 26, 1922, in Santa Ana, California. He was an Army veteran 
of W.W.II, attaining the rank of Technician Fifth Grade, and had worked construction 
at Edwards AFB.
He is survived by his daughter, Cathy Martinez, son-in-law, Eddie Martinez, 
grandchildren, Antoinette and Jeremiah Martinez of California City, brother, Myrle Stark 
of Parma, Idaho, sisters, Gertrude Grain of El Monte, California and, Evelyn Butcher of 
Prescott, Arizona.
