SUESS-In this city, Jan. 6, 1898, Herman Suess, aged 54, a native of
Germany.

San Diego Union; January 7, 1898

Herman Suess, 54 years old, who came to this city a little over a year ago
with his wife and daughter from Richland, near San Marcos, died last night
at his home on Logan avenue between Twenty-fourth and Twenty-fifth streets.
He wes a native of Germany.
