Edgar Summy Succumbs At 87

Funeral services are scheduled tomorrow for Edgar
Summy, 87, who died Friday at Colusa Memorial hospital. A native of Meridian,
he had made his home in Colusa for the past 12 years. He is survived by his
wife, Harriet of Colusa; eight stepsons, Orville Flager of Yuba City, Kenneth
Flager of Williams, Ed and Lloyd Flager of Arizona and George, Virgil, Everett
and Don Flager of Oklahoma; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Alice James of Arizona; and by
18 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Services are set for tomorrow at 2
p.m. at Colusa Baptist Church. Interment will be in Meridian Cemetery. McNary
Moore Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
