Appeal Democrat, Tuesday, May 190, 1949 Mrs. Edna Summy of Meridian Dies Meridian, May 10 - Mrs. Edna Lillian Summy of Meridian, wife of M. G. Summy, pump house engineer of District 2047, died yesterday at Knights Landing. She was born Sept. 16, 1889, the daughter of the pioneer Chester family of Colusa county. She was visiting her husband at the time of her death which was unexpected. Survivors are her husband and her children, Mrs. Alice Warren of Stockton, Mrs. Gladys Power of Gridley, Mrs. Berniece Delby of Marysville, Chester Summy of Crestline, Mrs. Dora Binder of Marysville and Eugene S. Summy of Marysville and three brothers, George Chester of Sacramento, Amon Chester of Chico and Bert Chester of Glenn. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. tomorrow from the McNary Memorial chapel in Colusa and the interment will be in the city.
