"Big Bear Grizzly" Thursday, October 6, 2005

Richard G. Sutherland 64, passed Oct. 1, 2005, at Big Bear Lake, Calif. Born March 24, 1941, 
in Los Angeles, Richard was a resident of Big Bear Valley for 18 years, coming here from La 
Puente. He loved fishing, cooking and watching kids play sports.

Richard is survived by his parents William and Delores of La Puente; companion Lena Burkeen; 
three sons: Richard Jr., Shawn and David of Big Bear Lake; three daughters: Teri of Anaheim, 
Ingrid and Rochelle of West Covina; brother Bill of La Puente; sister Barbara of Glendale; 
10 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Oct. 5, 2005, at the Big Bear Mortuary Chapel from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. 

Services will be held at the Bear Valley Community Church, Thursday, Oct. 6, at 4 p.m. 
Interment at Gold Mountain Memorial Park. Big Bear Mortuary, directors.
