"Big Bear Grizzly"; Wednesday, March 5, 2008 Ida Flo Seymour Sweet 90, passed away Feb. 5, 2008, at home in Cathedral City, Calif. Born Sept. 11, 1917, she was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, George, daughter, Barbara and grandson, Tracy. She leaves behind her two sons, George and Roger, along with their wives, Sue and Cathy; two granddaughers, Kolleen and Kelli; three grandsons, Vince, Mark and Rob and their spouses; two great-grandsons; a sister and brother-in-law, a niece and two great nieces. Ida spent much of her life in Big Bear, Calif., running a family store with her husband George and son Roger. After her husband's death in 1968 she went back to school and got her real estate license and went to work at Century 21 Real Estate. After selling in Big Bear, she settled in Sun City, Calif. She remarried to Robert Sweet and later divorced. In 2003 she moved to the Palm Springs area. Ida was loved and admired by all who had met her. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. She had a wonderful life.
