Private services for Richard Swineford
DOWNEY-Private services will be held for Richard Swineford, a 65-year Southern California resident who 
died Aug. 16 at Whittier Presbyterian Hospital. 
He was 86, born in Lynwood, and was employed 37 years by Lucent Techologies. 
He was a gunner's mate in the Navy in World War II, and was a longtime coach of youth baseball. 
Survivors include three sons, Scott Swineford, David Collazo, Michael Swineford; a daughter, Erika 
Wiseman; and four grandchildren, Tracy Swineford, Travis Swineford, Laura Soriano and Katherine Swineford. 
Arrangements were by the Miller-Mies Mortuary of Downey
