Memorial services tomorrow for Mabel Taylor, age 95 
DOWNEY-Memorial services for the family will be held tomorrow (Saturday, June 19) for Mabel Taylor, a 
resident of Downey for five years and a retired employee of Singer Sewing Machine Co., for whom she 
worked for 35 years. 

She was 95, born in British Columbia, Canada, and died June 12 in Long Beach. 

She was a member of the Long Beach Methodist Church. 

Survivors include her daughter, Doris Bremner of Downey; her grandchildren, Beverly (Michael) Marzo of 
Irvine, Janet Bremner of Downey, and Robert (Marlene) Bremner of Las Vegas, Nevada; and two great-
grandchildren, Jason and Alissa Bremner of Las Vegas. 

Burial will follow in Vancouver, Canada.
