Redlands Daily Facts; 2/14/2008

Wilmadean M. Tellis, a 71-year resident of Yucaipa, died of a stroke Feb. 9 in Redlands. 
She was 82. 

She was born April 23, 1925, in Canton, Ill., and moved to Yucaipa with her family when 
she was 11. 

She graduated from Redlands High School in 1944 and worked 16 years as a mold press 
operator for Deutsch. 

Survivors include two sons, Alvin R. Tellis of Yucaipa and Rodger Tellis of Maryland; two 
daughters, Deana Meadows of Tennessee and Bonnie Dailey of Banning; two brothers, 
Richard Hines of Nevada and Billy Hines of Yucaipa; a sister, Audrey Roberts of Illinois; 
nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. 

Visitation is 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 15, at Desert Lawn Funeral Home, 11251 Desert 
Lawn Drive, Calimesa. A graveside service will follow at 11 a.m. at Desert Lawn Memorial Park.
