Ralph William Thies mourned at age of 92
DOWNEY-Funeral services were held June 22 at St. Raymond's Church for Ralph William Thies, a 33 year 
resident of South Gate and a former employee of Thor Power & Tool Co. 
He was 92, born in Effingham, Illinois, and died June 19 in Downey. 
He was a member of St. Raymond's. 
Survivors include his sons, Ralph, Gerald and Charles Thies; his daughters, Rosemary Thies and Lorita Ortega; 
14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. 
Father Tom officiated. 
Burial followed at All Souls Cemetery. Arrangements were by the Miller-Mies Mortuary of Downey.
