Ramona La Vonne Thompson, a resident of Mojave for 16 years, passed away at her home 
on April 7, 2001.
Ramona was born in North Platt, Nebraska on December 17, 1929. She worked for a 
number of years as a secretary for Hertz and later for See's Candies.
Ramona was the loving mother of Joanne Blackburn of Palmdale, Calif., and Ramona 
Plummer of Gardena, Calif. She was the grandmother of Aaron and Matthew Blackburn both 
of Palmdale.
Donations to the Dove's Nest in Mojave, where Ramona volunteered whenever possible, 
were requested by the family in lieu of flowers.
Funeral services were provided by Stickel Mortuary.

Nebraska, she was born December 17, 1929 and lived in Mojave for 17 years.
