Tibbs, a native of iowa, aged 40 years and 3 months. Daily Appeal � 9/08/1892, Pg. 2 Death of William H. Tibbs � The death is announced of William H. Tibbs at Forest Ranch, near La porte. He had been in the employ of McIntosh & Sons, and was injured while working in the woods tending truck. A chain broke and the log rolled over him, injuring him so badly that he only lived about two and a half days. The deceased was a son-in-law of Alexander McIntosh, and leaves a widow and three children to mourn his loss. He was buried under the auspices of the Forbestown Lodge of F. & A. M., of which he was a member.
