Joven Aro Trias, Jr., passed away June 29, 2001 in the Little Company of Mary Hospital in Torrance, 
California, of pulmonary cardiac arrest.
Joven was born June 20, 1956 in Honolulu, Hawaii. He was also a resident of Lancaster, California. 
Joven was the manager of the Drug Emporium and he attended Antelope Valley College and the 
University of Hawaii. He joined the U.S. Navy in 1981.
He leaves to mourn: his wife of 19 years, DeAnna Trias, one daughter, Keiko Trias, one son Brandon 
Trias, his parents, Joven and Delia Trias both of California City, CA; two sisters, Penny and 
Jennie Trias of California City, CA; two brothers, Danilo Trias of Arlington, TX; Jeffery Trias of San 
Diego, CA; one brother-in-law, Scott Baker of California City, CA; one sister-in-law, Maria Trias of San 
Diego, CA; three nieces, Andrea, Cassia and Samantha and two nephews Joven and Jeffrey Jr.
Mass will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in California City, July 7, 2001, at 9:30 
a.m. conducted by Reverend John Gracey.
Viewing will be held at the home of Joven and Delia Trias, 21341 Baldwin Lane, California City, CA, on 
Friday, July 6, 2001, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Vigil for reciting of the Rosary is at 7 p.m. in the home of Joven and Delia Trias. Vigil at Our Lady of 
Lourdes Catholic Church for the reciting of the Rosary on July 6, 2001 at 4:30 p.m. Arrangements by 
Stickel Mortuary.
