Carol Suzann "Sue" Van Blankenstein

    69, a former resident of Big Bear Valley for more than 30 years, passed away Nov. 1, 2010, 
in Riverside, Calif.  She is survived by her daughter, Jeanne Van Blankenstein of Valley Village, 
Calif.;  daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Richard Enderlein of Valley Springs, Calif.;  two 
grandchildren, Elizabeth and Carlin Enderlein; sister, Judy Pink of Sylmar, Calif.; and brother 
Bill Dauphine of New York City.

    The family held a private memorial on Nov. 12 at Point Dume in Malibu, Calif.  In lieu of flowers 
or donations, the family suggests those wishing to honor the memory of Sue, do so through a 
kindness toward a fellow human being, or a nice long walk in the woods.
