San Luis Obispo Pioneer; Saturday June 27, 1868 Vol. 1 #26

FOUND DEAD-Monday morning Mr. J. M. WALTHALL, Sr., was found dead at his
ranch about eight miles from Stockton. It is supposed that he fell from the
frame of a windmill he was repairing. He was found several hours after his
death with his shoulder bruised and neck broken.
