WELLS-At Midway, Kern county, July 18, 1910, James Wells, husband of Emma A. 
Wells, father of Mrs. Cora wells Ranpon and grandfather of Marie and Violante 
Ranpon of San Diego; a native of Ashland county, Ohio, aged 69 years, 5 months, 
6 days.
   Friends and members of the G.A.R., Eastern Star and Masonic orders are 
invited to attend the funeral services at Masonic hall on H street between 
Fifth and Sixth streets tomorrow (Wednesday) at 10 o'clock a.m. under the 
auspices of Silver Gate Lodge No. 265, F. and A.M., and the services at 
greenwood cemetery will be conducted by Heintzelman Post No. 33, G.A.R.
